Inspection Issue and code

ok, replaced my dead battery last night and took it in today for an inspection. Because I just replaced the battery it would not pass inspection, tech said to drive it about 50 miles to allow the computer to re-read. As soon as he pulled it out of the bay check engine light came on, P0452. I have this before but always seemed to clear itself. However, because I only have 15 days to get it reinspected for free I need quick help. Thanks in advance guys :beers:

P0452 Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Low Input

Try a new gas cap.

And drive it like hell. Unless you want to go through the agonizing drive cycle procedure.

Already bought a new one the first go round with this issue. I filled up Sunday or Monday, why would it take until now to throw the code?

Could you explain the drive cycle procedure?

Thanks Toyz. Based on the instructions I believe my next question may have been answered but I will ask anyway just for verification. Can I simply erase all codes using a code reader, and if by erasing them will I then be able to pass inspection? Thanks again for any input.

Sure, if all your monitors have run. A scanner will determine that.
