What can I do to my trucks performance to increase the HP? I’m new to building up engines from stock so need ideas and where to find parts as well?

 

2 valve or 3 valve?

Depends on how much money you want to spend. A tune would be a good start. Lower rear gears would be very noticeable. If you want significant increases in hp, a supercharger might be the ticket.
My 2002 got a noticeable increase in performance with a Superchips tune.
