Possible COP problem?

Hey Guys, I have a 2006 F150 with the 5.4L engine. Purchased used in 2008. In 2009 at 65K I was thinking about tune up, as it had a random skip and read here about the broken plugs etc, so I brought it to the dealer for a plug change. 3 broken plugs and 1 coil later, it was running Ok. Now have 99K on it, and it had a random miss again, usually lower RPM. I am not getting any codes. I also just recently had the alternator and battery replaced. Since only 1 coil was replaced, and I'm pushing 100K should they all be changed as a maintenance thing? When the alternator died, could it have caused some damage to the coils? This sounds like a coil thing to me, and from what I have read and discussed locally. Problem is without a code, I don't know which one to change. Any thoughts? Fuel filter was done at the 65K time too. BTW they used SP507 plugs.

Hey all,
Last night on the highway, I had someone cause me to almost stop at an exit, and then I had to get on the throttle pretty hard. This caused the engine to finally though a code. Checked it today and I got a p0304, which means misfire number 4 correct? I am thinking a COP on number 4? That is the same one they changed at 65k. Is it unusual to have the same one go again in only 32k miles? Any other thoughts? Haven't seen any responses yet to my original post.

Goto eBay and type in DG511 look for a set offered by uneek or global....
Get the v10 set then you'll have two spares...
Replace them all...

^^ what he said. You should also clean the throttle body and MAF if they have not been done. Change the fuel filter if it has more than 20,000 on it.

I picked up a single coil yesterday locally at the dealer, and paid way too much I know, but I needed it. Anyway, wrestled my way to the #4 cylinder, and changed that one out this afternoon. Went pretty quickly. Truck seems to be better, Just did about 10 miles, but was not able to replicate the miss, and no codes. So possibly success? I think I will grab a set off of ebay, and change them all. Not huge money going that way, and they do have close to 100K on them. Thanks all.
