Hey, ive been noticing at idle i a really rich smell near the cab, i cant exactly describe it, but i dont smell it near the front of my truck at the grill or at the back by the exhaust. Just around the cab, i dont know if i should be worried or not, anyone know if this is normal? or anyone else experiened this?

hah sorry, no need to be smart though, its a 2005 obviously an f150. 4x4 crewcab lariat.

 

If it has a 5.4, you may have leaky injectors, which are under an extended warranty.

 

Also check your fuel filter it is against the inboard side of the frame right below the drivers door. They rust and they can sometimes leak.
