TrickFlow Cam Gear Spacers

Hi All,

I installed a set of CompCams into my 5.4. I've got bolt on cam gears, however, there is a enough space for the gears to slide back and forth on the cams. Can I use the TrickFlow Cam Gear Spacers sold by Summit Racing in between the cams and the gears? Summit is telling me they are just for timing purposes. If I cannot use the TrickFlow Spacers, are there any other spacers I can use?

Thank you,
-Alex

I would think any spacer would work. I am using ford timing gears and spacers. You might try callin a local dealer and see what they say.

Thanks guys. After reading the post about using the spacers off a Romeo Mod motor, I was able to locate a Ford part number for them: F3AZ-6265-A

Thanks again,
-Alex
