O2 sensors

I have 125k miles on my truck. (2006 5.4) All the maintenance as far as the plugs, filters, fluids, etc is up to date and it runs great. I also get about 20 mpg.

The only item I've never touched is the O2 sensors. Being that my mileage is good and it runs smooth should I leave them alone? I've seen guys run their trucks forever on the factory O2 sensors. I've also always heard not to touch them unless your MPGs drop. BBut then I see people say you should change them every 75-100k miles

Thoughts?

If you are getting 20 mpg, leave them alone. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I think 15 is more like the norm - which is why I say leave them alone!

if they are still working there is no reason to change them.

No, I just commute on country roads 55-65 mph, right in the sweet spot where you can get good MPGs. I use a really light foot too, never over 2k rpms when accelerating. When I was driving in the city everyday I got 17-18.
