Shut it off/quickly, raise the hood/position hand on top of your EVR sensor.

Vibrating ? Yes ? That's it.

Completely normal. It's venting, they usually play a tune tho - not marbles, yours is unique

The only other thing it could be that I can think of, is air in the cooling system. The sound comes from the heater core under the dash.

Jbrew is the one you explained the sound when you turn of the car, and then it makes this ticking noise.. Like every minute or 30 seconds..? I guess it sorta sounds like a marble being dropped.... But yeah, sounds like something is cooling of or something.

Mine sounds like it has some serious gas issues and farts for a bit.
No singing, just farting......
It was actually one of the 1st things that I needed diagnosed when I bought it, Ford Tech. said completely normal, drive it, it's just venting.

You guys are weird

Sounds like an digital alarm that's been hit/thrown one to many times.

Kinda sounds like my water softener when goes into regeneration mode.

Or the neighbor kid who was trying to talk while my daughter was choking him.

It's not a sensor. Did I call it that? - It a solenoid.

By the EGR valve ^^^

There's two in this pick, can you find them?

Nah, that's the EVAP solenoid. The EVR is here -

There's also a 2WD solenoid/ 4WD solenoid / Starter Relay (solenoid)/ Starter motor solenoid.

Butt, the EVR is the only solenoid that cuts loose every now and again.
