help with a 94 5.0 power steering pump
 
ok ive gotten everything but i cant seem to get the pulley off the front so i can pull the pump out and replace it,

so can anyone tell me how to get that pulley off

Can't you get it out with the pulley still on it? Then you can pull the pulley on the bench.

no it needs to come off.

f150 fella-what exactly are you having problems with?
are you using the puller for the pulley? or is it just tight?

well you know on the pump it goes throught that bracket (or whatever) on the block then the pulley (where the belt goes around) and i cant figure out how to get it off,

and ive looked everywhere for step by step instructions but i cant find ANYTHING

the pulley is pressed onto a shaft on the pump.
you need this tool to pull it.

you dont need snapon i just used them as examples

thats what i thought i knew you needed some kind of tools to do it,

oh well a buddy of mine wanted me to help and we tried and i was like dude you need some kind of tool to do this and he insisted that we didnt

now i have proof :)
