"Chirping" - Sounds like a belt. Check your ware mark indicator on the tensioner. Is it to the limit ? How the belt look ? - Look for cracking or missing pieces.
Belts okay ? If so, pull the belt off. Spin each pulley and listen for a scuffing sound or resistance of any kind. Even a clicking sound is a sign of a bad bearing. Check for pulley wobble. Any wobbling indicates a bad bearing. As mentioned above, idler pulleys are the most common, but I've seen tensioners freeze up - keeping them from self adjusting.
You need to do a little investigating

Belt looks good. Sound does not go away. Pitch stays the same. As you press on the gas, chirp gets faster. I guess you could also describe the sound as a squeel.
Did you get your F-350 yet? I am considering trading my truck in for a 350, but concerned what the maintenance costs would be. I heard the maintenance costs on diesels are steep.
