troyer ignition upgrade vs.motorcraft
 

i have a 1998 4.6 xlt.would i be better off with the upgrade or just go with the motorcraft parts(coil packs,wires and plugs)

I upgraded mine with accel coil packs from troyer and I have been very happy with them. Easier, quicker startups and I saw an increase in fuel mileage, smoother, idle, etc. I think you'll be fine with motorcrafts really though, any tired coil pack replaced by a new one is a huge difference.
