Oil Pressure problem

I just got a 2000 F-150 XLT 4x4 w the 5.4L V8. After I drove the truck onto the tow dolly, The oil pressure gauge bounced from a normal reading to zero every few seconds and the oil pressure light turned on and off. Is this due to having the front end on an incline? The truck also has 180,000 miles.

Thanks

Well check the oil pressure wire. Sometimes if they get loose they will make it seem that the oil pressure is wierd. What happens is that the wire touvches the sensor off and on causeing the fluctuation.

Too much of an incline can cause the oil to flow away from the pickup tube, especially if it was low.

No oil in the tube = no oil pressure.
