performance probs???

Hi everyone,
I dont usually abuse my truck but i wanted to see what it would do. I have a 02 4x4 w/ 5.4 and i was at a complete stop and floored it. I was expecting a little rubber squealling and was very surprised. It hesitated slightly then took off to about 2500 rpms and went through the gears smoothly. Not even a chirp. I would have thought a truck w/ this engine would have done a lil spinning of the tires...but no. So i tried it again just to see if it was different and same results. Please help me burn rubber!!!! just kidding. I'm just wondering if I might have a problem here. I've had many other trucks w/ smaller engines do much more damage than this one. BTW the truck is bone stock as far as engine mods, tire size, etc. and i usually drive it like a grandpa.....
Thanks!!

The reason is called computer controlled 'torque' management.
Said another way, your foot dosen't have the last word in go power to the rear wheels.
You 'may' find the truck accelerates better with a slower approch to WOT..

Stock the 5.4 is a little bit of a terd. Put an intake and exhaust and she will light them up. At least one of them like mine, the biggest factor is weather. If it is blow 60 or a nice cool night it will chirp them. But once you get up into the 80 it becomes a terd.

Cool

HI!... Get a tune for it via a programmer. Ford has it set up with "WOMAN" shifts. They pull over 100FT/LBS of TQ out during the 1ST to 2ND gear upshift. Remember to that you have a 4X4 and it's heavy.
