I dunno about K&N, but Amsoil has a 100k mile cleanable (with vacuum cleaner or air hose) nanofilter and Fram has one that you wash with dish soap and water and put back in.

Well, I cleaned the MAF sensor yesterday. Didn't help. Hmmm, I don't know what to do. Do you guys think it could be a vacuum leak somewhere?? I remember reading somewhere that can lead to power loss. I guess I'll go out into the cold and try to listen for any leaks. Other than that I don't know what to do. Any ideas??

So it turned out to be the IAT sensor. the temp sensor that goes into the air intake tube just past the air cleaner and MAF. The rubber grommet that holds it in was dry rotted and cracked. Half of the flange that holds it in was missing so it was kinda just hanging there half in, half out. So I guess that caused the leak and that amount of unmeasured air coming in through the opening caused it to have poor performance.

That don't happen to often , but yea, that would definitely screw things up..
