4.6 and 35's

I have a 1997 f 150 with 164,0000 miles. I have recently ordered some 35x12.50x17 pro comp mud terrains. I was wondering how well my truck will turn these tires on the interstate and in town. Im thinking it will be a little under powerd for these tires comments please

probably not very good. I'd get a set of 4.10s for sure.

what gear ratio do you have and what mods? i have the 4.2 v6 with 35's and had 3.08's for about a year and it was rediculously slow and then swapped the 3.08's for some 4.56's and it got SOME power back. My only mods were an intake and catback

The true duels with 40's is honestly probably hurting your low end power!!! I used to have the same thing. I would go with 4.56 gears for 35's. It will be under powered for sure with 3.55 gears and the 4.6.

Ihave a 2000 f1 with a 4.6 with the exact tires you have. I'm running 4.88 gearing, mods include volant intake and a flowmaster 40 series dumped and I couldn't be happier with that set up.
