5.4L No compression???

And considering that you've bought three cars from that dealer, an "after warranty assistance" claim should be a given. Ford allows up to two of these claims after you're out of warranty. Sometimes they'll foot the whole bill, sometimes they'll split it with you.

I'd ask the service manager of your dealership for after warranty assistance, seeing as how you've been a good customer in the past. Or you could call Ford Customer Service and explain to them what's going on, they may be able to help.

+1 on that also his motor should be a 3v. its a 2004 model 5.4l the navi's went to the 3v motor.

Without removing that head you won't know the extent of damage if it's valve related. Could just be a new or rebuilt head will fix the problem or once the head is off you'll see if the pistons and cylinder walls are still OK.

But I'd be worry about the rest of the engine since I think you said it lost oil pressure while going down the road ??

They went to 3Vs in 2005, along with the 6HP26 trans. 2004 is still 4V.

i posted two different links to show that the internet is not always correct. cause im sure i could find some site that reviewed it that says its got a 5.4 3v or a 2v lol
