coil help . . .
i put a new coil on my 2000 f150 4.6 today . autozone said it was number 7 . i replaced it . it is still missing . but the ses light hasnt came on yet . could i have gotten a bad coil . thanks for any help jay

Sure, that's possible. Most likely you have another going out on yuh. If you have a COP system, replace them all - it's cheap if you know where to purchase -

NEVER trust the monkeys at AutoZone to actually try and diagnose a fault in your truck.
If they knew how to do that, they wouldn't be working behind a retail parts counter.... |

Dallas,I installed the cop's from Global and jbrew is right,they are an excellent coil for the price,$147.00 for all eight and 8 Motorcraft plugs,the platinum ones delivered to the front door.Go to e-bay and search coil on plug and you'll go right to Global.Check them out.
