I had the coads checked at auto zone. i just put the stock MAF back on, and im selling the jet one i guess i dont need it and it not helping me so.... bit anyways i did a search on here and i dont know what could be causting it. the truck studders when i go from a start if i give it to much gas. so im driving around like my my grandma:o The up stream O2s where replaced around 500 miles or so. i removed the hypertech and im selling it on ebay so i can get some $$$ for an edge, i think it will make a world of diffrence. but i cant figure out whats going on. any suggestions?

Your codes come from leaker most likely - Vac leak .

Heres a little list from most common to less --

1 Vac leak back by the firewall

2 MAF is dirty

3 Intake gaskets are compromised..

You need the test with propane or you most likely will not find - specially the gaskets....

jbrew was telling you to look for vacuum leaks, vacuum leaks won't cause P0172/0175. I'd start looking for things like leaking injectors or a faulty fuel pressure regulator.

thats what i was thinking how do i check them i think i can do fuel pressure but the injectors?

I don't know what happened- I started reading the post and got as far as PO17. Reflexes took over.. Idunno - it's crazy :help:

So how do i check the fuel pressure and injectors? the fuel pressure i think is checked by the little valve stem thing on the rails? is that right? i havent really looked but i havent seen one and if so what should it be at? and the injectors is that checked by ohms? if so how and what #'s? i really dont wanna have to pull all of them out. i have 960,000 miles on the truck now so i was thinking its time to replace them. but i cant shell out almost $400 for all 8 i need to find some low miles used ones and that should work. am i right in my thinking here?

Ya for the fuel pressure you cheack at the schrader valve (passenger side).
Make sure you have a good gauge.Start it and see what it runs for pressure.While it is still running unplug the vaccum line at the fuel pressure regulator,pressure should rise apprximately 10psi.Also cheack the vaccum line going to the regulator to make sure there is vaccum.There is actually quite a few steps to cheacking the fuel pressure but that is all i can remember right now:confused: If you have a book it will give the min and max of psi.Oh and a new regulator is about $80 from ford and a Walbro fuel pump is about $110.

psi at idle= 30 to 45 psi

psi at idle with regulator vaccum hose detatched= 40-50 psi

fuel pressure hold after 5 minutes = 30-40 psi

from my chitty haynes manual!!!
Oh and cheack ebay for injectors.you would be surprised how cheap you can get them

If you have any questions, I've dealt with that crappy code before... ended up being a PCM problem with the fuel control... so... yeah, pray that overnight the car gods wish you good fortune and turn your rich codes into lean codes.
