that my motor is still going as strong as it is. I mean I have never driven another 4six Expedition, but for having a blown headgasket, leaking all my compression out of one cylinder, I must say the engine runs pretty strong. It has a strong idle, never hesitates, never studders, just runs mint. I'm hoping it lasts me through the winter so I can start building a 5.4 shortblock, take the truck out of comission for a week or two, drive the camaro, than get the truck going again with the 5.4.

Once again, just saying I thought the motor would run like junk having one cylinder practically DEAD. MPG shows its wounds though, never seen 12. . .

 

My 1999 F-150 has like 140K on it and she still hauls a$$ up and down the road, my dad drives it primarily and loves it. 4.6 is a well built engine, and lord knows I have put my old one through the paces....
