You missed the whole point. Even OEM parts can be defective. That is not the rule but the exception. Some tool could have taken one of the plug wires and stretched it and snapped the wire inside it. There could be a tear in the plug wire what will not show up but under close examination. Testing it is the only way to know for sure. Replacing a good wire is a waste of money. Who is to say that the same tool didn't stretch a whole batch of them? Double check your work to be sure you didn't miss something. After testing the wires be sure that they are seated properly. Did you knock something while doing the tune up? Once your work/replacement parts is/are eliminated as the possible cause you can look for other things.

No , don't work for Ford at the moment , but have. I had a problem running Bosch plugs at one time . I wanted to be clear about the plugs your using.

i did answer both questions. 1 they say motorcraft on the plug 2 it is a man 5 speed. it does not happen when i shift to overdrive. it happens in 1,2,3,4 or 5 depending on wether i accelerate aggressively. it does not happen in any gear if i accelerate slowly.

I would try cleaning the MAF sensor . Pull the TB and clean it - elbow as well , the ports can get clogged going into the EGR.

Did you post in the V6 section ?

If the O2 sensor were bad, it would most likely cause the Check Engine Light (CEL) to come on. It's a quick fix. Have you noticed any abnormal temp ranges while the stutter happens? I had an issue with the water pump that started this way. The gap may be an issue (especially if you knocked the tip of it while trying to get it in). If none of these apply, then I would have to agree with the others to have your ECM checked for error codes and faulty ignition points. Hope this helps
