How many 05 - 07 5.4 Tritons have gas in air filter?
How many of you that own 2004 to 2007 Ford F-150 with the 5.4 liter V-8 have found excess gasoline in the air filters?
It is a large round dark spot located on the passenger side of the air filter on 2006 - 2007 5.4 Trition V-8 flex fuel engines.
My dealer claims this is normal, I think Ford has a design problem with the air cleaner assembly or throttle body and will not repair under warranty.
Could this situation lead to an engine fire?
