Help Decoding Code

My 98 F150 5.4L is running rough and stalling at idle. I had the code pulled and it's P0174 System too lean (Bank 2). Is there a way to actually tell what is wrong? I hate to buy a new MAF if it's not the problem. Thanks!

Hi, try the "search" feature. There are numerous threads on PO174. Dont just assume the MAF is bad. Are you running a K & N? Over oiling has been known to cause Maf problems. Can usually be remedied by spraying Maf wires with contact cleaner. More info in search feature.

Everything is stock. I did a Search and looks like it could be a Vac. line. I will have to look closer since I did have the air box off to try to clean the MAF. I sprayed it with MAF cleaner while it was still screwed in cause I didn't have the safety torx but I could see the wires, would that have ruined it?
