After market head for the 3v??

Does anyone offer aftermarket head for the 5.4 3v yet?

Not that I have heard of. The 3V head flows very well. I really think you would need over 600-700 hp to need a better one.

i thought a 4.6 and 5.4 heads were the same.

the 3v head is a hugh improvemnet over the 2v head. the 3v flows 223 cfm int. and 148 ex. cfm @ .500 of lift and will make a max of 459 hp on a N/A motor. (stock 2v pi heads flowed a terrible 165in, 150ext)

fox lake modified 3v heads flow 264 int and 190 cfm exhaust @ .500. Now were are talking and on a street 330 cubic inch motor this is more than enough. this can make a max of 543 hp.

for comparison a stock chevy ls1 alum heads flows 231 intake and 193 ext @.500 lift.

with companies like Fox lake and livernois getting flow numbers like this, there is no need for aftermarket.
