i thought a 4.6 and 5.4 heads were the same.
the 3v head is a hugh improvemnet over the 2v head. the 3v flows 223 cfm int. and 148 ex. cfm @ .500 of lift and will make a max of 459 hp on a N/A motor. (stock 2v pi heads flowed a terrible 165in, 150ext)
fox lake modified 3v heads flow 264 int and 190 cfm exhaust @ .500. Now were are talking and on a street 330 cubic inch motor this is more than enough. this can make a max of 543 hp.
for comparison a stock chevy ls1 alum heads flows 231 intake and 193 ext @.500 lift.
with companies like Fox lake and livernois getting flow numbers like this, there is no need for aftermarket.
