Speed on cruise makes quite a bit of difference - I prolly avarage what you do . When I checked mine in 2005 (PA Trip) I started in MI , got on the turnpike in Ohio put it on cruise @ 64 MPH (The Police on the turnpike are pr^cks)

Anyway, 64mph all the way threw flat Ohio got me 19.8 -about 20mpg w/5.4L - I filled up at the second service station once I was in PA on the pike.

In Pa threw the mountains I prolly got 9 lol - I didn't check , it was to much fun..

What is your truck? I have an 05, 5.4 4x2 with 3.55 gears and I get 19.2 going from Fort Worth to Houston driving 75 to 80. I make the trip frequently, about 240 miles one way, go through several towns along the way.. Around town I get from 16.5 to 17.
