Misfiring COP

Usually, when one of my COPs goes bad, it says the primary circuit is bad. Now, I have a code telling me "PO358 primary/secondary circuit not complete." I already ordered a couple more COPs (one to replace #8 cylinder and one for a spare), but is there anything else I should replace because of this code?
By the way I am new to this forum, but I did use the search feature for a primary/secondary circuit.

Primary/Secondary COP failure isn't all that common, unless they have been under water ..

Try searching "Misfire" in the engines forum instead of the other - you'll have better luck..

A P35X (where X may equal any cylinder indentifier from 1 to 8) code usually means the COP is either unplugged, the primary portion of the coil has opened, there is an open circuit between the COP plug and the PCM, or there is a faulty PCM.

Thanks for the quick reply. My edge gave me the code PO358 primary/secondary. When I get the new COPS I'll double check all the connections and clean them up.
