I have 121,590 miles on my 1997. The only problem I have had is a mysterious rough idle.

yea, this is my first f150, i have been through 5-6 mustangs and finally bought my last one. I wanted a truck and i figured if the mustangs are that dependable and built right the trucks have to be, so i tried it and i love this truck plus i am very thankful for it so i pray it will last me awhile. yall check out my gallery and see what you think. there is a Z71 in there but that is my everyday driver, i got it at a good price and bought this 150 for my sunday go to meeting truck.

Milage
I've got just under 250,000km on my '00 Lariat 4x4 Ext/Cab. ( and a spark plug JUST let go this morning. I did have to repalce two COP assemblies last year though.

142066 on my 97 5.4 2 valve. blew a plug at 132xxx, but other than that its bulletproof.

this question should have been posted in the 04 - present section

the guy is wanting to know about the 5.4V3 not the older 5.4

still good to hear the old 5.4 is holdin strong

i guess i should have been more specific, but like he said it is always good to hear this because that tells me what kind of a quality truck ford builds thanks guys
