storage questions

im storing my 2000 f150 for about 6-7 months, is there any thing i should do to it engine wise,etc.. for storing it. I know i should start the truck every once in a while, is there anything else im missing?

Change your oil now and only start the truck if you have enough time to get it to full temp. If you do not get it to full temp don't bother.

Put fuel stablizer in the tank and run the truck for a bit, to get it circulated. I always use EngineStor in the intake to lube the upper half of the motor, just follow the directions on the can. If you store it every year, and plan on keeping it for ever, it's a good idea to take some weight off the suspension. I just block up the Mustang 3-4", so the tires are still on the ground, but there's only about half the weight on the springs and shocks. I use 1/2 cinder blocks with 2x4's on top so it doesn't scratch. And disconnect the battery. You won't have to start it till your ready to drive.
