what is the easiest way to get a good and noticable amount of power out of a 2003 F-150 supercrew with a 5.4L engine?

that seems to be for tuners, but is there anything else thats easy and kind of cheap that i can do for more hp, remember i have a 5.4l 2v not the newer 3v

E-fans, programmer, long tube headers, well not cheap, but they will add lots of power!

Tuner is the best option, definitely the most bang for your buck. After that you just keep going with CAI, e-fans, underdrive pullies, exhaust...ignition upgrades.

I have a 2002 Supercrew with the 5.4L 2V and option (4) is the package for our engine. My truck is all stock right now and I have been looking around to see how I can get more power out of it. I concluded a custom tune & CAI seems to be the best deal for your money and gives you the results you are expecting.

Depending on what your truck has now (gear ratio & tire size)...gears.

well its an FX4 i think it is 8.8 not sure

im not looking to make my truck the fastest cause thats just not going to happen unless i plant a money tree and the fact that i want to raise the truck and put heavier tires on it, i want something to a little more than compensate for the huge wheight gain and give me a nice decent start and "get up and go"

Not the diff size (8.8 as you note) but the gears inside.
If you are puitting larger tires, then gears for sure IMHO.

What tires do you plan on putting on?

I'd consider at least 4.10, more likely 4.56 with a large tire. I run 4.10 gears with street-size 285/60R18 tires (not off-road tires).
