ok so should i assume this is a direct bolt in to my 2002 f-150 4x4 4.6?
is the harness the same?

i am really interested in whats brock in my engine i cant wait to tear it down i had a ticking or rapping for the past month or 2 and all of a sudden lost oil pressure and started knocking real bad in about a 1 minute period as i pulled over, so now the truck has 117,000 miles 15,000 on the tranny and soon 5,000 on the motor i guess its a new truck, should i change the exhaust,any recomendations? how about any power upgrades are there any recomended with this EXPEDITION motor, it is a w code romeo, so does it have th PI heads?

thats a 5.4L dude... yeh its a direct bolt on but u will need the PCM and the exhaust collectors will need to be moved out some to accomodate... but that is definatly a 5.4L the 4.6L never had the plastic intake manifold and the 5.4 had the plenum with the IAC located in the rear...

 

actually i asked that question that is a file photo he has both listed 4.6 and 5.4 and ibought a 4.6 romeo v-8 ha has a 100 percent feedback and he has a machine shop in mariland so i checked his web site and the better buisness buro and he has no complaints in 5 years!

 

I would relax, at least for the time being. The picture may be a 5.4, but a picture is just a picture. What you actually ordered most likely will be correct. They probably just took a snap shot of a motor they had and use it generically if they actually do alot of business. My experience has been that most people on eBay are honest, straight-forward, people trying to peddle their wares. Of course, the buyer should always beware...

i just bought a MAF off a cobra... i was sent the housing without the sensor.. im pretty upset. ive been screwed on ebay a few times.. but nothing to pricey. this was only 20 bucks and i better get a refund..

How come it looks like the bottom end and exaust manifold is so rusted?

sheit, my 03 has 33k and doesnt look that bad

I mean the head covers arent that clean, but i dont think i have that amount of rust on it.

that motor pictured is actually a 5.4 he is using a file photo he has a lot of these motors listed on ebay! i have some pics he sent me and it is very clean!

why is 120,000 unusual the engine napa sells is unlimited milage and also the one from central auto is unlimited?

 

just funny that aftermarket companies that sell rebuilt ford engines have more faith and warranty in their product than ford does

 

yea and its also funny that ford wanted 3,250 LABOR to install its rebuilt motor and i found 2 large reputable shops that want 700-900 for the same job??
