5.4 3v No Start

I have a 2006 F-250 with the 5.4 3v with 115k miles. Have had a laundry list of problems. As of today, April 13 2015, it sits in my driveway because it will not start. Here's what I did since I owned it:
All 8 spark plugs (Motorcraft)
All 8 fuel injectors
New timing chains, tensioner and guides
New cam phasers
New VCT solenoids
New fuel filter.
If I let it sit for a day and come back to it, it'll crank one full turn and backfire. After that it will just crank with no attempt to start, even with starting fluid. I'm stumped, my dad's stumped and it's been to 3 different shops, including the world's largest used car dealership: Ricart Mega Mall. If anyone can shed some light on this situation, I'll be forever in debt to them haha.

You keep taking it to shops, but have you tried taking it to a FORD dealer?

Yes I have; they said it failed a compression test, then quoted me a price on a new engine.

I hear the motor is a high tolerance motor and is built well. Just failing components I suppose.

No check engine or DTC 's ... The keep alive memory has been erased because I disconnected the battery.

Not that it really matters, but who did the work with the timing chain? Dealer or shop or you?

I did the timing myself before I took it to one local shop and the Ford dealer.

Was the back fire from the TB? or tail pipe? TB is a timing problem. OR may be the crank sensor is bad. this may help,

With a BAD crank sensor on your Ford 4.6L or 5.4L vehicle you'll also see one of the following symptoms:

If the vehicle is coil pack equipped: The ignition control module will not produce its PIP signal and thus, the PCM will not activate the fuel injectors.
You can verify this by using a noid light to check for the fuel injector pulses.
If the fuel injector pulses are present, the crank sensor is OK.
If the vehicle is COP coil equipped: The PCM will not activate the fuel injectors.
You can verify this by using a noid light to check for the fuel injector pulses.
If the fuel injector pulses are present, the crank sensor is OK.
No spark to any of the 8 engine cylinders.
You can verify this by using a spark tester and checking each spark plug wire or COP coil.
If spark is present (even if it's just at one cylinder), the crank sensor is OK.

@RevBiker I performed those tests today and got positive results.. Noid lite lights up for each fuel injector and COP connector, so the crank sensor must be good. It backfired once through the intake, going to see if the timing is too advanced.

What was the outcome of the truck not starting??

My truck sat for some time battery was dead....had to get it to charge....got it started and I tried to make it to my buddy's place to fix my radiator....on the way it ran dry of coolant. But before that battery light came on, check engine, check gouges, and while making a turn it died and never has started since. I've replaced everything related to fuel system. Also plugs and coils. Before this issue and didn't have an issue

I cant read any codes because I cleared them with installing a new battery.

I'm at a loss....any help would be greatly appreciated
