Engine options

Greetings,
My F-250 4X4 4.6 has almost 140k on it now, and is running great. I have been thinking of when the time to pull the 4.6 and re-build or upgrade to the 5.4. I went on the Ford motosports web site, and looked for engines (both long and short blocks) and noticed a modified 351 with close to 400 hp.
This got my wheels spinning, and wanted so advice, would this 351 conversion work? Should I upgrade to the 5.4? Or should I just re-build the 4.6 and do some mods while it is appart?
The 4.6 is fine, and I know I have a while, but I want to start setting aside some $$ for when it is time. I love the truck, I haul, tow, drive daily, and take off road every once in a while (nothing like a good mud bath). I have been very happy with the truck, although a little light on power, it has been great.
I am kind of leaning to re-building the 4.6 with some mods, and a trick chip after the build.
Thoughts? Thanks for the help.
