2004 4.6L F150 vs. 2005 4.6L Mustang

I've been looking for mods for the 2004 F150 4.6L and am disappointed that I haven't found what I'm looking for. Someone told me that I can buy mods that are made for the 2005 4.6L Mustang and put them on my 2004 4.6L F150. Is this true? I don't see how this is true since the Mustang is 300HP and mine is only 231 stock. It seems to me they are almost completely different engines since the Mustang is bored different and all that. Specifically I'm looking for headers for my 2004 4.6L F150 and also a few more mods. I bought a throttle body spacer and put it on..it makes a high-pitched whistling noise it's annoying as hell. But even on the box it says "you know its working when it whistles" and I even called the manufacturer and they said it's normal but its so annoying to listen to. I'm thinking about taking it off and selling it on Ebay. It does seeem to accelerate a little faster with it though. Thanks guys..I've been reading alot of posts on here lately and getting great info.

I *think* you're out of luck as the 3V heads are completely different from the 2V heads. However I have no idea regarding the headers issue. Ford could have specified the same pattern and placement of exhaust ports so they could use the same exhaust they were using previously rather than have to pay for a new exhaust system too.
