Hey All!

I am starting to pump up my 2002 Lariat FX2, I just installed dual exhaust flowmaster 50 series. I've been debating on whether or not to get a super chip or the programmer?

Also, I want to get a mass air flow sensor, vs the stock one on the truck now. A friend of mine, thinks it might not work right because the computer may not allow more air to flow thru, has anyone had any problems like this?? Let me know,

if i were you i would get the mass airflow, then go to troyerperformace and have him custom tune your truck (its a superchips tuner that has a custom tune specific to your truck) and he will adjust it for the mass air sensor. i have the 1715 tuner for my 2000 f-1 and i am very pleased with it...deffinately reccomend!

 

If you get an aftermarket MAF you should get a new tune for it.

I have heard to use the 90mm MAF from a 2001 Lightning, they are cheaper than the Granatelli, but there is a $75 core charge. Troyer performance can program your reprogrammer to use the 90mm from the Lightning. Hope this helps.
