Ok originally check engine light produced cylinder four missfire code so new coil pack was purchased and new plugs, but i purchased bosch so it ran horrible still so some of the sites member suggested the bosch plugs could be a problem so today i checked the coils and replaced all plugs with motorcraft plats double checked all connections and coil connections and still im with my problem as far as the miss goes

at idle you can slightly feel it

when in gear you can feel it

on the throttle it feels horrible no acceleration what so ever

60 mile an hour with cruise on its fine but as far as mahing the peddle forget it

checked coils, checked boots, new plugs
new fuel filter, dry gas, air filter cleaned, checked for vaccum leaks hoses look fine nothing on the block or heads look like its leaking so now what? I must say i do appreciate all the tips and help something has gotta work thanks again

bad injector?

possible ECM flash necessary?

Bad wire?

You totally sure that your air intake assembly is FULLY SEATED and properly clamped? any variation from there any part of your air intake is supposed to be covered, sealed, and clamped can cause problems like that... did you make sure you plugged in all the sensors that you may have removed?

Check your fuel pump?

is the SES light still on? if so, what code is it pulling, and did you ever clear the code?

well, check to see how much pressure your fuel pump is putting out... maybe its just barely puttering and its causing problems with your ignition... it REALLY doesnt sound to me like that would be the issue, but its a shot in the dark either way... im just tryin to name off everything i can think of that would cause the car to run like that... and lack of fuel could do it... your SES light is your Service Engine Soon... i think on your truck its just a "Check (picture of engine)" or maybe it actually says "Check Engine"... SES is your check engine light what i was saying was, when these cars sense a problem, they re configure their computer to run like that.... so you will need to clear the codes for the computer to reset and work under normal sequence... if not? your gonna have the same issue...

junkyard... or maybe ford has it.. you may have to spring a few extra bucks and just get the entire wire section (which is more probable, because of the pain in the *** it would be to put the connectors inside the plastic retainer) and just cut the wires and solder, or crimp them together on the old wire..... not sure on that one man

I called my local salvage yards and it was a no go if any body knows of a online salvage yard let me know i would say this has been my whole problem! Think i need my eyes checked Changed plugs 3 times last week and didnt see it ? blind man walking caution, another ? when i turn the o.d. off it seems to run smoother what does the tranny have to do with the coils or is the miss feeling i get possible deeper than the plug wire? I wrench on stock cars from time to time but elctronics and myself dont seem to get along when it comes to my truck but im learning slowly thanks again 1bad, vuk
