Starter location?

Can anyone tell me the location of the starter on a 1998 Ford F150 4.6L? Is this something I could change myself? Mechanics around here are wanting close to $400 bucks to do it. Thanks!

It should be very simple. Starter should be about 75 dollars and will be located on the underside of the engine just forward of the transmission bellhousing where the transmission butts up against the flywheel. SHould be a 20-30 minute job if its your first time

If you can't find the starter, you should let someone else change it. Yes, I'm being serious.
