Any how-to's for 97 f150 front cover gasket and intake manifold gasket replacement?
I'm planning to buy a used 97 f150 with blown motor due to the problem described in the title and also www.leakingfords.com. Are there any step by step how-to's online for this?

I'm not sure of any how-to's but you could try the V6Engine forum a little further down the page. It seems like the website you found had a lot of good info, and I'n sure there is more on the web. Other than that pick-up a Haynes manual or get the ford factory cd off ebay for complete removal and repair info. Personally though I wouldn't buy the truck unless it was a very good deal. Once you get it working you will want more power and then wished you had got the V8.
