Won't start
 

I have a 1987 Ford F150. It ran good to one day I turn it off and now it won't start. Its not getting gas to the plugs I have changed the gas relay&computer relay plus the computer and the fuel pump and filter when I turn the key I hear the relay click but the fuel pump don't come on I have power to both relays.I have check every thing I can think of please help someone it driving me nuts.by the way its got fuel injectors.

try reseting the inerta switch for the fuel pump. It's located under the dash on the passenger side(some had them on the drivers side),just press down on the button on the top to reset. If that don't work,disconnect the connector from it & see if it appears to have been arcing. If so you can temporarly by pass it with a jumper wire & see if the fuel pump runs. If that solves the problem then you will need a new switch & connector. good luck!

Still won't start
 

check the fuel switch it ok it started ran about two min. and die won't start again.any idle please reply or e-mail at ksey47@wideopenwest.com

Do you not have fuel pressure? do you hear the pump run key on engine off before you start it? check to see if you have fuel pressure to the fuel rail. There is a schrader valve on the rail , see if you have fuel there. If you do, then the problem lies with the ignition system not firing the injectors. They also make a light that can be plugged into the injector harness so you can check for injector pluse signal. Will it run with artifical enrichment. If you have no injector pulse a lot of times you have no spark also. let us know!!

Thanks to all that reply.I got it fixed it endup being the plug ends
on the relays they wouldn't make good contact with the relays. I replace them and it started right up.
