Well if havent done those all yet, i just ordered my 4:10's and the cost of them is about 300$ plus install of anywhere form 250-450.
the fans i think are 85ish but i could be wrong, install should be easy enough to d o your self, i dont know what supplies would be needed for the fan.
the pulley is under 200 and the belt is probably 20ish and install is like changing your oil x's 2, not a hard one...

id say 1500 is a good estamate.....

anyone else disagree?????

im only guessing so if im wrong, sorry....

Good luck man.

My personal opinion would be aleast the 4:10's, and than go from there...

Have you ever installed a Poweraid TBS on any of your vehicles? If not, you have no room to talk. There is a lot of ignorance out there about throttle body spacers. All I hear is that they DON'T work from people who DON'T even have the goddamn part. I just raced 4 tenths slower w/o my Poweraid TBS installed. If you want to agrue this more we can. All I know is that I actually have the part and know whether or not it works.

Uhhh yeah i have and now it's on the shelf !!!!!! Let me guess you use SLICK 50 too huhh? and if you really want to argue ..I have a F150 and so does F150 Y2K thats where the question is ..not on your little Ranger....Before you opened your mouth maybe you should have asked that so your post is pointless...Did you do your big 1/8 mile run on the same day same, air temp, and track conditions with and without your big bad T/B spacer????..if not your numbers don't mean crap ..If your looking for a fight go somewhere else...Also if you happenened to do a SEARCH here there are ENDLESS posts on how those $100 paperweights don't work on OUR F150's, some say it may work a litlle on the 4.2's but it can't amount to much...............So what i was getting at originally is F150Y2K save your money put it towards something more worth it and buy some gears.....

Little Ranger? My stock 4.0L has 207HP and 238 Torque. Your so called "Big" F-150 has MORE weight and LESS horsepower stock. Not to mention that the 4.2L has LESS than 15 torque more than the Ranger. So if 2 tenths of a liter less, more horsepower, and less weight makes me "little" than you've got issues. And for your information, I did run on the same day. I ran with the TBS then took the 25 minutes to uninstall it and ran again. I wanted to prove to all the ignorant people out there that the TBS makes a difference. You're right about one thing. I could do a search here and find out all the bull**** that was written about a Poweraid TBS. You know why? Because people hear a flame about a product, and everyone just hops on and joins when they never even tried it. Most likely you didn't even buy a Poweraid TBS. If you did though, take a pic of it and send it to my email address.

Thumbs up ISN'T THIS WEBSITE "F-150" Online.com???

Ah! You beat me to it ROUSHFAN-1....I was gonna post something similar to that!

Poweraid TB Spacer = Been there Done that....RETURNED IT! Are they still making that whistle sound? Sounds like belt replacements are needed!

I definitely want to get the EFan and UD Pulley but it seems like I'm getting suggestions to go with the 4.10s first. I'm gonna get on the phone with Santa right now!!!!!!!! My birthday is in April, so the UDPulley and Fan will come then.

Quick question: Is it the same to travel in 3rd gear at 2500 RPM than it is to travel in 4th or 5th at 2500 RPM?

Roush, you're the one that took it too far. It's like a code that you don't flame the vehicle of a fellow Ford driver. Especially when it's a truck. Numbers don't lie btw. You think my truck is little, yet the numbers prove it to be bigger. So take your 2 tenths, and over a thousand pounds and keep talking. On another note. One could spend his whole life on a "message board" and still end up knowing next to nothing about motors.

I just had to add another reply. Read my responses and then yours. Who seems to be having the problem with the "shaking hands"? You typed with such hesitation that it harldy makes sense. But I guess it's me who is in such in a hurry to flame...

BTW - I'm still waiting for the "picture" of your TBS.

I almost forgot. Does an aftermarket intake work for your truck? If so, mine does too! Would you look at that? We have different motors but get the same results off a product. The Poweraid TBS is no different than a K&N Intake. Increasing the airflow efficiency can't just work on my truck and not yours. The only difference between my intake and yours is the fact that my points in a different direction. The Poweraid TBS was designed to produce more efficient airflow with it's design. There's only two items that effect the TBS. The intake tube and the throttle body. The motor has nothing to do with it, unless you wanted to get picky and compare the cam durations.

Back to my previous question and sticking to the Board Topic:
Is it the same to travel in 3rd gear at 2500 RPM than it is to travel in 4th or 5th at 2500 RPM?

I think you have SIZE issuses there guy ..your Ranger Edge is smaller than F150's the last time i checked....I wasn't even talking about your #'s ...I can't believe you can't see people are trying to have a little fun here but your taking it hook, line, and sinker.....as for the picture i'm not going to dig it out of the JUNK box in the garage to take a pic for you sorry...but believe me i had one on,and now i have one off.... I'm not flaming trucks either ..I don't know where your getting that...I called your truck little.... oooohhhh... big deal ,it is. ...Your 4.0 is completely different than the 4.2L and the modular 4.6L,5.4L engines ...For some reason i hear that the Paperweight..oops i mean Poweraid **may**work on Chevy's...So don't tell me all engines are the same..it ** may ** work on your truck but not on ours...Next thing your going to tell me is that Tornado 4th grade foil science project works too...So anyway let these other guys (FLAME) you i'm done here.....they don't work on OUR F150 engines ....Is that better skippy....?...ohh yeah forgot my dad can beat up your dad....

Let me just add something for facts. I have a 4.2 5-speed all stock and I have raced 3 Rangers with the 4.0 which too were stock, blew them all away, they just can not hang with the big boys. Took them off the line and never seen them again except in the rear view mirror...

So even though the numbers for the 4.0 may look the same or better, in real life, they just can not compeate with the 4.2

Guess you could call that 2 tenths of WOOP ***...
