noisy v6
I had my 99v6 4x4 severly in the mud a couple days ago, which I might add she handled quite well. Once I "got out" and back on the highway , I wanted to check how much mud was clogged underneath it. I pulled onto a parking lot and slid underneath , left the engine running, and man what a noise my engine makes on the bottom , holy s#$t, it sounds like a powerstroke, there must be something wrong with my engine, its noisy on the highway as well, but it does not burn oil. I am wondering if this engine is commonly as noisy as this?

I forgot to mention that I have one of those quiet toyotas that I have driven for over 140,000 relatively trouble free miles, that makes me laugh as well , when a 2 year old f150 cant go 1 month without a couple days in the shop, I long for the day when ford makes something that I can grind a starter in. lmao

Why do you guys bash toyotas and hondas because of their quality? Or anyone that owns one for that matter? What would you do if someday ford was owned by toyota? Its just a brand name ford ,chevy etc . I never bash anything thats different especially if its better, I dont hate ford trucks, I have owned three of them and this one happens to be a lemon. Its just frustrating to spend $25,000 and not get a quality truck .

Mine is a bit noisy too. Have you noticed that they get a little more noisy when running over those little go-cart toyota, honda things on the road as well as a little more bumpy then when running over a cat.
The F-150 is however pretty amazing for receiving little if any damage when running over those above mentioned road hazards...
Another thing, have you noticed how funny it is when a driver of one of those go-cart things gets really pissed when you tend to cut them off. Whats funny is they act as if you saw them. How can anyone see those tiny little, return for depoist, cars when your driving a manly truck kind of like "what the hell was that?, an animal?"
