Thumbs up I'd like to thank God and Ford for saving people very dear to me

I'm usually a good V-6 poster, but forgive me for not being about V-6's this time. I thought that people should see what quality they've got.

Wednesday my father got T-boned in the worst fashion. A lady in an Explorer hit him in his Expedition at about 50 MPH. She totally ran a blatent red light. The passenger side of my dad's Expedition got crumpled in to about the center console. The collision also sent my dad's truck about 30 feet across a street and a median into a Dodge Ram, which then got lifted into a Toyota. Nobody was hurt, thank God, however if my mom would have been in the truck (Like she usually is), they said she'd be in very bad shape right now, if she'd even be alive. I'm very greatful for my mother not being in the truck and for my dad leaving without even a bruise. Everyone left the accident ok, including two young girls, a middle aged woman, my father, and another person. Thank you God for protecting over my mother and my father, and thank you Ford for building a very strong vehicle.

If you're at all curious, the right side of my dads truck is caved in to about the center console like I said, and the left side is banged up pretty bad from the impact with the Ram. I can't imagine how strong a hit it was since it picked up the Ram also.

You never realize how important people are to you until you realize they can be gone in an instant.

Sorry to hear about the accident. I'm glad your Dad and everyone else is OK. Ford undoubtably makes a strong vehicle. And I believe there was someone watching over them(and your Dad) in that mishap. Thank God your Mom was'nt in there! Regards, Joe.

wow, good thing your mom was'nt in the passinger side..
That has to be the worst angle\impact I can think of besides head on at very high speeds, people usually don't suvive those type of collisions..

god bless

Built Ford Tough

is the motto we hear so much about the 150s 250s 350s and so on. i think you could place the Expy under that too. we were originally going to buy a Durango but it
A) got bad crash ratings
B) im too big for it

anyways my said for us to get an Expy. and thats what we have and we love it. its like another member of the family. sorry if this offends anyone but that accident sounds like a real CLASH of the titans. i mean with 2 Midsize SUVs and a Ram. im sure all of us here at F150online is glad that you are ok. we can all thank God for that.
