Is the "homemade" airbox mod worth the trouble?

is this thing gonna be worth the 30 minutes-1hour of my time it will take me to make it? I have the K&N already, and some exhaust. Would it be worth my time to cut the box open?

Yes it would. And if you have a Dremel tool or a good pair of shears or a nice saw it shouldnt take you more than 20 min. to do it.
