help with 97 f150 4x4 4.2

I have a 97 f150 with dead 4.2 want to pull 4.2 complete out of running 03 will it plug into the cab harness of 97 and run. Thanks any suggestions on installing it will be appreciated. Going with stainless shorty headers also.
