2017 2.7 EcoBoost producing lots of white smoke on cold start

Hi all,
I have a 2017 2.7 EcoBoost that has since about 7k miles occasionally produced white smoke (thought it was vapor) after a cold start and then would stop after a few seconds. Recently, it has been getting worse and lasting much longer (27k miles). As far as I can tell, the oil level has dropped only a little bit (less than a quart) and the coolant has remained the same level. Has anyone else experienced this? Build date is June 2017

As the weather cools off, more white smoke should come out the exhaust because is takes longer for the exhaust to warm up. Gasoline when burned is converted to CO2 and H2O (water). When the truck cools water in the exhaust is condensed inside the exhaust. Combine that with the water produced when the engine starts that gets condensed by the cold exhaust pipes and you get visible moisture in the exhaust. I would get it checked out if it is excessive though. A head gasket leak could cause excessive white smoke on startup too.

Normal.

Oil will drop more in a turbo charged engine because of it's nature. Even N/A engines burn oil, some more than others.

Also the water content is higher in blended ethanol fuels, so when the alcohol burns, you get more water. Simple chemistry.

I have 2 friends with 2017 2.7's. One was the turbo seal. the other was worse something with the heads. Bring it in and have it checked. Not normal.
They both had just like you, first occasional smoke then got worse.
