4.2 imrc rods

2001 4.2. F150, I replaced imrc bushings but rods have fallen back out, is there a way to keep them in place?

I used dorman bushings, should I get the motorcraft bushings and try again?

I ordered motorcraft bushings, Lesson learned, Dorman bushings don't hold rods in !

It would be upsetting if I hadn't already pulled the upper intake off to replace the injectors when I found one of the imrc rods had fallen out again after installing the Dorman bushings 6 months ago.
