MAP Sensor Test Procedure 2014 Ecoboost

2014 F150 XLT Ecoboost.

I have P0172. I purchased a OBD2 diag wifi and got it all hooked up. I see 3 MAP sensors but only 1 readout for MAP on the OBD2.

I need to clean/test the MAP sensors. Can someone tell me what they are supposed to read (Hz or variable volts at the signal out/signal ground wires).

Any help is appreciated.

I would start by cleaning the MAP sensor. That's what most people do to clear up that code. Then go from there.

Cleaned all 3 MAP sensors. And changed plugs. Long term fuel trim is still -25% on bank 1. And bank 2 is very low also -10%-15%. Long term FT stays around zero when rpm’s increase. Short term fuel trim is near 0. So looks normal when rpms are up. LT fuel trim shows rich -25 at idle. Any other suggestions.

Where is the intake air temp sensor? And how do I actually test the MAP sensors? Also, emissions test report says O2 heater.

The intake air sensor is in the air intake pipe directly downstream from the filter. It looks almost like a MAF housing but it's not.

I have part number CV2A-9F479-AA on that sensor. (Immediately downstream of filter) Says it’s a MAP sensor. Does it measure intake air temp too?

Yes, it's a little bit different on the 2011s though. For the 2012+ that part number with a -A is on the air cleaner, -B on the intercooler outlet tube and -- on the intake manifold. They are all a combination pressure and temp sensor.

Can you tell me exactly how to test it with a DVM. I have yellow/brn (ground) yellow/ green (5V power I think), grey/blue and green/brown wires. Not exactly sure exactly how to test it.
