I replaced my fuel pump 3 or 4 weeks ago and yesterday was driving hom e from work, went to take off at an intersection and she just shut off on me after checking things like the oil the wires and the water tried to start again and was running very rough and shut off, next day jump it off and it fires right up no problem do you think this is a defective pump or possibly trash in the system or a sensor need help!

 

Check the fuel pressure at the schrader valve on the fuel rail. Then you will know if it is a fuel pressure problem.
