Hey guys I have a 2001 f150 4.2 v6 xl and I’ve been having quite a problem, I have a noise coming from the alternator area, it’s kind of like a metal on metal clanking noise. The noise is worse in the cold, when ac or heat is on, and when the wheel is turned. I’ve already replaced the tension pulley, the idler pulley, and the alternator. I don’t know what else to do please help!
