You can pull it on flat ground. You'd definitely be in the slow truck lane in the hills. I pulled a 25' Layton TT with my SWB 86 F150 with a 302 V8, C6 auto without a lockup torque converter and a 3.00 rear. It woud tow fine on flat ground. I towed it from Raleigh NC to Orlando, 600 miles. Just make sure you use a weight distributing hitch with sway control and brake controller of course. That 302 had 180hp.

If you have a manual transmission, no way. The transmission is light duty and has a 3500# towing limit. With an automatic it will do it, but you need to lock it out of overdrive and I'd get an auxiliary transmission cooler installed.

Sure, you'll get down the road... How much fun it is and how many rpms you'll be comfortable with is up to you...

My TT has a GVWR of #5000 and I tow it with the truck in my sig...

I would not enjoy towing MY trailer with YOUR truck, but I've been towing stuff for a long time and just have settled on what works best for me...

I would tow YOUR trailer with MY truck, no problem....

But there you go..

Good luck!

Mitch
