#5 cylinder not firing
Hello everyone. I purchased a 2000 4.2 f150 not long ago.
Went to check codes and #5 cyl isnt firing, among other things.
I have changed the coil, plugs, wires, all several times with different brands.
Ive changed EGR, TPS... I cant even remeber everything else but #5 WILL NOT FIRE!
I hope someone can give me some advice on what to tackle next.

Other things... there is a vacuum line under the intake that had an elbow on it which had a huge hole. I dont know the name of it. So the intake gasket was changed. I di O2 sensors. Here are some codes which I got from Oreilly...
P0305 -cylinder 5 not firing
B1230 -wheel speed sensor "dont know what this is"
B1676 -Batt pack voltage "got new battery and cables thinking it could be a ground issue"
P1519 -Knock sensor
P1000 -On board diagnos "have no clue what this is either"
P1519 -?

P1000 simply means that not all sensors have completed readiness testing since the last code clear.
P1519 has nothing to do with the knock sensor, it's IMRC stuck closed. That could very well be what that vacuum line goes to.

I wouldn't worry about the "B" codes at this time. Check your injectors and do a compression test. Spend the 20 bucks for your own OBD2 scanner.

Check with O'Reilly's - they should have a compression tester in their tool loaner kit, they may have noid lights.
