08 4.2 shaking loss of power
Hello, 08 4.2 117,000 miles. Started sputtering jerking when driving in wet weather, then go away after a day or 2 then started constantly tried to limp it home, it died. Would try to turn over but no go. Purchased new coil Duralast. Started up but now idled rough but reved up would sound great. Tried to take off it shook and had no power pulled code got p0351. Towed it home replaced plugs Bosch platinum and Bosch wires still got p0351 code. Replaces coil with a second Coil still no luck... rough idle feels like trucks shaking apart no power when driving up down road. Only code I keep getting p0351 Bad PCM? Thanks for any advice or help
Ps I know I should use Motorcraft but only had AZ at the time not sure if these would keep giving me p0351 code...

Bosch plugs and wires are a BIG mistake in a Ford engine. So is a Duralast coil. Use only Motorcraft, anything else is a crapshoot.
P0351 is a bad coil.
Are you positive you didn't cross any plug wires?

Did you use any dielectric grease?

Thank you for the response I triple checked the wires, thanks for the order. All good, also used grease. I think I'm going to try a new Motorcraft coil see what kind of difference that makes. Then work on swapping plugs and wires with motorcraft. Not sure driving with a bad coil messed up the PCM but will try all things before changing that out. Would it start after changing coil and give me code if it was bad?
