62k and almost 22mpg. YAHOOOOO

Just turned 90k miles with 28k on the new (used) motor.
Getting new windshield and back window as apparently i pissed somebody off and got a 3 pound rock thru the back window!
Probably some jerk shovie owner!!

 

Loved it for 108,000 miles but took an oil sample after 3000 mi. on oil change and it showed 192ppm antifreeze in oil. Sampled again after 1500 mi. and it was higher at 325ppm(parts per million) and got a good trade in price so now have a 4.6. Had planned on keeping it longer, but she had to go. C'est la vie.

22.500 on a 2000. only thing id change is a bigger motor. dont get me wrong i like my 6 but im 19 and ready to drive like a bat out of hell

 

This doesn't exactly count but Its still a Formoco product.

I traded in my 1986 Mercury Grand Marquis with 365,000 miles on it for my 1997 F-150 - it now has 70,000.

 

25K on my 1999. Need to get my tranny looked out before the warranty runs out this summer.

Well, my 2000 4.2 4x4 has 30,000 km on it (as of today), and I have had no really bad problems, except for wiring and brakes.

Hey Yoshi, where did you send your oil to be analyzed? How much did it cost? I've got a '97 and I'm worried about a small amount of missing coolant that doesn't appear to be leaking. Ford says my truck is not included in the front timing cover gasket recall.

 

My beastie, a 97 Supercab XL - 4.2L 5spd has 277,648 km or 173,530 miles on it. Aside from regular maintenance, I've only had to replace the clutch slave cylinder.

 

I had 225,000 plus change on my old truck. It was an 88 F150 wiht a straight six with manual tranny. You can't beat that engine with a stick.

 

97 f150 4.6 just turned 41000 , also occasional rough idle. how do you fix?tried everything. still runs like a scalded dog though
